3-l and Tracery, 1948. War memorial, 2 windows to commemorate the sons of Bessie J B MacArthur (a remarkable woman!), the third the son of Rev R and Mrs Cairns. Left window shows young King David with harp, right shows youthful John the Baptist (detail illustrated from BJB MacArthur's photo), and between them is the figure of the Risen Christ with green cross - emphasis on youth throughout. In the Tracery is an aircraft soaring upwards and a single star. Installed by Willie Blair.
