ART GALLERY
WILSON, W: Window on stairs at front of the gallery. Scottish fishermen panel, 27" x 36", 1958. Purchased in 1960. It was lent to the Scottish Arts Council's "Leaded, Concreted and Sandblasted Glass" exhibition in 1963. The gallery has cartoons of the Strachan stained glass windows for King's College and St Machar's - see below. They also have a small collection of mediaeval glass, currently in storage and uncatalogued.

Stained glass including BAYLISS, J: 1-l North wall memorial Piper Alpha window. Illustrated. 1-l North wall Steel memorial window, Adam and Eve. Church entrance window over door. Unusually, designed to be seen from outside. GORDON & WATT: 3-l East window, poorly artificially lit with yellow light. This was moved from another church and re-sited here. SALVIN, H: East chapel 1-l entrance. 4 small windows in chapel itself. 1975. West chapel 1-l entrance. 4 small windows in chapel itself. 1975. Garden of Remembrance chapel 2 windows, 1975. Apparently the gatehouse, built at the same time, also had a small window which was broken and so removed by Aberdeen Council and replaced with clear glass.
