What's this? Glassworks in Glasgow - who've done loads of work on the history of stained glass in Scotland - have this cartoon and want information on the artist and/or the whereabouts of the window. The cartoon has a monogram, an R down in the right hand corner amongst the foliage. Any information to me or to Joe Boyle
Where's this? An autonomous panel by Alex Gilfillan, presumably from the 1970s.
Who are they? A set of windows in Dumfries are apparently the work of a company called Rihurer and Königenan. Can anyone out there shed any light on who the company are/were? And why Dumfries appears to be the only place in Scotland with their windows? (This is the sketch; click here to see the actual window)
Originally made for Reid & Taylor mill, this "flowers" panel by Willie Wilson has disappeared (legitimately!); they think it may have gone to Edinburgh after leaving them. Any body know?
