How this is laid out

I  have tried to glean as much information as possible; I have, however, left out lots of the more obvious text I've come across, such as explanations of symbols used. I have put in the occasional personal comment, with a

'nother Dumfries angel

for my favourite windows.

It has been suggested to me that it might be helpful to researchers to put in dedications as well, so I am starting to add these.

The layout is as follows:

TOWN

  • RELIGIOUS BUILDING
or
  • NON-RELIGIOUS BUILDING
- I am also gradually adding street names as I come across them.

  • DENOMINATION IF APPROPRIATE/KNOWN
NAME OF DESIGNER (Des) & MAKER (Fec)
Details of window(s) including comments from others.
Where possible, I also put in illustrations.


Where I have found a web site, I am also linking in to that, adding a hyperlink to the building's name,
as I am to maker's web sites
